The XXIII ISPIM Conference – Action for Innovation: Innovating from Experience –organised by ISPIM (The International Society for Professional Innovation Management), and hosted by La Salle University in partnership with Orbita97, takes place in Barcelona, Spain on 17-20 June 2012. this conference will bring together around 500 innovation experts from 60+ countries.
The conference will revolve around a number of innovation aspects, concerning particularly the methods and tools for the creation of innovative products; funding and managing innovation processes and the concept of sustainable development in innovation planning and implementation. For the very first time, the topic of corporate foresight will be presented in a separate conference panel. Within this session, the representatives of the Institute, that is Prof. Adam Mazurkiewicz, Joanna Łabędzka and Dr. Beata Poteralska will give the speech on the following topics: Setting Priority R&D Directions for the Strategic Research Institutes (Prof. Mazurkiweicz), Integrated model of indicating future innovative technologies (Joanna Łabędzka) and Hierarchic Structure for Generation of Innovative Research Directions and Technologies (Dr. Poterlaska).
The main speaker will be Henry Chesbrough, the author of the model of open innovation. Among other prominent speakers will be the representatives of GlaxoSmithKline, Intel, SAP, Unilever, Xerox, TATA, Nokia, IBM.
