Our strategy
Scientific and technological progress, intensification of global competitiveness, information excess and interdependence of countries make strategy building processes difficult for all organisations, including R&D institutes. Additionally, the quick pace at which the changes take place, call long term plans into question. The problems grow more in the case of unfavourable external conditions, i.e. economic crisis. However, in such particularly disadvantageous surrounding strategic thinking significantly grows in importance, and its practical implementation in the form of systematically applied methodological tool allows the distinction between average and prominent organisations.
In our strategy for the 2008-2013 period basic research directions in the area of statuary activity of the Institute are determined. They correspond with the present and forescasted global trends and priority national and EU policies.
